General History

New Earswick Swimming Club was founded in 1967 and since then has provided low cost recreational swimming to thousands of people who lived in and around the city of York.

The club is based at the New Earswick Pool, which is maintained and operated by the Joseph Rowntree Trust. The pool is situated behind the Folk Hall in the quiet village of New Earswick.
