About the Scheme
New Earswick Swimming Club is home to one of the most successful
training schemes in the city. Since being founded in 1967, the
club has taught thousands of children to swim; most of which
continued into competitive swimming and reached county, regional
or national level.
Some of those swimmers that continued into the training scheme
have reached county and regional finals, British championships
and commonwealth trials.
New Earswick Swimming Club offers it's competitive swimmers a
perfect environment in which they can perfect their skills and
technique and increase their physical ability in order to reach
their potential.
The training scheme uses three different venues and all swimmers
in the training scheme have access to a long course pool.
